| I am pleased to introduce you to our refugee-led, women-led NGO where I serve as Kandaakiat’s co-founder and first female Executive Director. We envision a society where women are collectively and individually self-reliant and free from injustice. We promote and strengthen the growth of a just and developed society for the social, political, economic, physical and mental wellbeing of women through inclusive approach, capacity building and advocacy. We are determined to ensure that the voices of refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants are heard; where they live free from fear and with respect for their inherent worth.
