Today, on National Labor Day, we celebrate the dignity, resilience, and hard work of millions of workers worldwide, especially refugee women and youth who labor daily against great odds.

At Kandaakiat Organization for Women Empowerment and Development (KOWED), we honor every hand tilling the soil, baking bread, and building small businesses in pursuit of a better life.

Through skills training, sustainable agriculture, and entrepreneurship support, we remain committed to transforming labor into sustainable livelihoods, economic independence, and hope.

This Labor Day, we reaffirm our dedication to decent work and women’s economic empowerment.
